Glass Screens
Project remit
London Borough of Bromley Called JS into their Housing department to discuss screening for their custom built reception and interview desks. They explained their ideas of wanting a product that would protect their staff during the Covid-19 pandemic and continue beyond, in a secure manner but it should not feel like security screens
JS came up with a cost effective be-spoke solution using clear glass with an aluminium track to help copy the shape of the reception desk and ‘H’ shape clear glass on the interview desks. This gave a light and airy feel in a secure environment

Client comment
Please accept a big ‘thank-you’ from all of us here at LB Bromley who developed the brief for the works and which you have each so professionally delivered upon.
The area is still the same footprint but it now has that “Covid-19 and Beyond” look that we wanted to develop. As stated we would be pleased to act a reference site so that other Local Authorities, who may not be at the same point as us, can view the work that has been delivered and which may, in turn, guide their thinking.
Thank you again for the work and the professional conduct of the fitting teams as led by Ricky.
Covid-19 has thrown so many negative issues at all of us, but it also offers opportunities to work with organisations and people that you don’t normally get to work with directly and on this occasion I can absolutely state that it was personal and professional pleasure to work with you both.
