Furniture, for University of Sussex
Bespoke Furniture
Project remit
JS were asked by architects, RH Partnership, to work with Capita and the University of Sussex to design, manufacture and install a bespoke desking solution for 200 work stations for the Department of Informatics and Robotics. We worked closely with all three parties to ensure we had the correct specification, particularly coming up with a secure, stylish desk, as well as providing a cable management solution along with tamper proof monitor arms. The client specifically asked for these desks to be robust and secure for the 24 hour usage these desks would have in the educational environment.
The work was completed on time and under budget

Client comment
“James and his team showed a good understanding of the clients requirements, and made some key decisions in the design of this furniture. This result is a an excellent computer lab with some very good quality student computer desks.”
