When AFME relocated its London headquarters to Canary Wharf, the objective extended far beyond replacing furniture.
The move represented a full workplace evolution, transitioning from a traditional office structure to a modern hybrid environment aligned with corporate identity and sustainability targets.

Following a competitive tender process, JS Office Environments was appointed to lead the furniture consultancy and procurement strategy.
Our involvement began at the earliest stage of the relocation programme, embedding us within the wider project team.

Early Integration into the Relocation Team

Rather than entering the project at the specification stage, JS worked alongside designers, project managers and client stakeholders as the hybrid workplace brief developed.
This allowed us to shape furniture decisions around real usage patterns, collaboration requirements, desk-sharing ratios and long-term flexibility.
